🎾 1-Point Shootout Tennis Tournament
One point decides everything. Fast-paced pressure tennis where every rally matters.
1. Event Information
- Players must complete sign-in Form Below during this period to confirm participation.
- 📅 Event Date: 15 August 2026
- ✅ Player Sign-In: 09h00 – 09h30
- 🚀 Tournament Start Time: 10h00 until late
- 📍 Players are encouraged to arrive early for registration confirmation, warm-up, and match preparation.
2. Match Format
- Each match consists of only 1 point.
- Normal tennis rules apply.
- No games, no sets, no advantage scoring.
- The winner of the rally wins the match.
- No Lets: If the serve touches the net and lands in, play continues.
3. Serve Decision
- Rock–Paper–Scissors decides who serves first.
- The winner chooses to serve or receive.
- Only one serve attempt is allowed.
4. Tournament Structure
- Golden Event: consists of 128 players (Knockout Event).
- Main Event: Maximum of 200 players.
- Main Event: After every round, a new random draw will determine the next matches.
5. Survival System
- Win 2 matches in a row to receive a Golden Ticket into the Golden Event progression.
- Lose 2 matches in a row and you are eliminated from the tournament.
- The Main Event concludes when all Golden Ticket qualification spots have been secured.
6. U/14 & Women’s Divisions
- Separate knockout tournaments for U/14 and Women players.
- Top 4 players from each division automatically qualify for the Golden Event.
- Remaining players may still compete through the general progression rounds.
7. Entry Fee
- Entry Fee: R50 per player. Bring Cash
8. Prize Distribution
- Golden Event Winner: 50%
- Golden Event Runner-up: 20%
- U/14 Winner: 10%
- Women’s Winner: 10%
- Random Lucky Draw Prizes: 10%
9. Additional Rules
- Players must report immediately when called.
- Unsportsmanlike behaviour may result in disqualification.
- Tournament officials have the final decision on disputes.
